Early 20th-century maritime ephemera collection from the Clyde Steamship Company, dating between 1907 and 1911. The collection includes one black fabric-covered promotional pocket diary and four souvenir postcards depicting vessels in the fleet. The 1907 pocket diary features gold-stamped text on the front cover reading 1907 COMPLIMENTS OF CLYDE LINE and lists various port cities including New York, Charleston, and Jacksonville. Postcards include a color lithograph of the S.S. Arapahoe postmarked 1909 with a one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp, a color lithograph of the S.S. Mohawk, a sepia-tone photo-postcard of a ship with the text Sister Ships Algonquin, Mohawk, Seminole, and Cherokee, and an illustrated card for the S.S. Comanche postmarked 1911. The postcards include period handwritten correspondence.
