This lot consists of five Wedgwood items: a money bank shaped as The Round House, one cup, one plate, a set of pictorial cards, and an asparagus holder. The ceramic pieces are crafted from cream-colored earthenware. The money bank is designed as a circular building with a ribbed dome and is embossed THE ROUND HOUSE at the front base. The saucer is in the Conway pattern, featuring a central multi-colored floral bouquet and a fluted rim. The wedge-shaped asparagus holder and the cup are decorated with black rim lines and transfer-printed armorial crests; the holder displays an arm holding a sword, while the cup shows a lion rampant holding a standard. The set of pictorial cards are British Museum postcards depicting Wedgwood Jasperware, kept in a light green paper envelope. Several items include provenance stickers from the Rubin collection, the Polikoff collection, and the Schofield collection. Backstamps include of ETRURIA / WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND / BARLASTON and the pattern name CONWAY. The saucer also bears the text Decoration under-glaze and Detergent proof.
