6 linen/hemp tea towels

Six hemp dish towels from the late 19th century, originating from France, each measuring 80 × 60 cm, beige, never used and in perfect condition, four bear the initials E.C. Hemp is the same species as cannabis. It can and is nowadays refined into a variety of commercial goods, such as rope, paper, clothing, and textiles. It seems to crease less than linen for women's clothing. In the 19th century, hemp was used mainly for dish towels, as the fabric, once woven, was and remains extremely durable and resistant. These towels, as far as I can tell, have never been used. These towels became very “fashionable” in France, woven at the end of the 19th century. However, few sets are available and they have become very rare now, because only a small amount of hemp was woven in the 1900s. Since this is hemp, the superb cream color will endure and that is one of its strengths. Please refer to the last photo for the nuance. The initials are of course embroidered. These photos come from a prior set, and the 6 hemp dish towels in this auction are identical 100%.”} }json免费视频观看?Oops, done. Wait final. Ensure only one JSON object.
