7pc Grace Line and Greek Line Silver-Plated Spoons

Collection of seven 1950s maritime spoons in silver-plated nickel silver and stainless steel, produced for the Grace Line and Greek Line. The group includes various utilitarian forms such as teaspoons, coffee spoons, and a citrus spoon with a pointed bowl. Several examples feature Art Deco style terminals with ribbed and stepped handle designs. The face of the handles bear stamped text reading GREEK LINE in recessed rectangles, GRACE LINE, or a circular crest containing a stylized GRACE logo. The reverse sides of the handles feature various manufacturer stamps. One handle is stamped REED & BARTON. Several handles are impressed with ROCKINGHAM PLATE LTD E.P.N.S. A1. One spoon is stamped S.&C. and another is marked MAPPIN & WEBB SHEFFIELD & LONDON STAINLESS with a circular M&W device.
