8pc Collection of Canadian National Steamships Caribbean Voyage Ephemera

A collection of vintage travel ephemera from the Canadian National Steamships line, primarily comprising a set of seven color-illustrated bi-fold dinner menus and a partial sheet of decorative stamps. The menus, dated 1952, were used aboard the R.M.S. Lady Nelson and feature vibrant Art Deco-style cover illustrations of various Caribbean and West Indian destinations including Barbados, British Guiana, Trinidad, Dominica/St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua/Montserrat, and Bermuda. Each menu reverse provides a brief historical and geographical overview of the featured locale. The interiors contain the dinner bill of fare and a musical program. All menus bear the printed mark CANADIAN NATIONAL STEAMSHIPS along the edges or within the text. The lot also includes an incomplete sheet of perforated poster stamps for the Great Northern Pacific Steamship Co. featuring the S.S. Northern Pacific. The stamps depict various ship interiors and exteriors, including the dining room, writing room, and engine room. The stamps bear printed text reading GREAT NORTHERN PACIFIC STEAMSHIP CO. and Travel via Portland, Astoria, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Honolulu. Fast De Luxe Service.
