8pc French Line Compagnie Generale Transatlantique Ephemera Collection

Collection of maritime ephemera from the French Line (Compagnie Generale Transatlantique), primarily dating to the 1920s and 1930s. The grouping includes two large-format black-and-white photographic plates, one depicting a formal dining room interior with Art Deco architectural details and the other a close-up of a citrus tree. Included is a multi-page luncheon menu for the S.S. Paris, titled Paquebot PARIS and dated Lundi 29 Novembre 1926, featuring a bilingual French and English bill of fare. The lot also contains various travel brochures and promotional pamphlets, notably a colorful graphic for the NEW NORMANDIE with stylized ocean liner imagery in a red, white, and blue palette, and a folder titled French Line Sailings ENGLAND FRANCE SPAIN. A document with ornate lithographed borders is headed "COMPAGNIE GENERALE TRANSATLANTIQUE" and features handwritten notations in red ink.
