(Disneyland, 1987) On October 2nd, 1987, Disney Dollars were released for use at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Florida. As part of the transition, the dollars were changed slightly. An "A" was added at the end of the numerical sequence, and the sequence included eight numbers instead of seven. The paper, typeface, and shading were also slightly changed. To commemorate this new bill, this first day issue stamped dollar was released in an edition of 2000 pieces. The uncirculated dollar has been applied to a piece of 7.25" x 10" heavy stock paper and is in very fine condition.
