1 Medium size 19th century shaped example of a bird. Here is a beautifully detailed and executed example of Meiji period (1868-1912) Japanese metal worlds known as Shakudo. This image depicts a traditional nature scene featuring two birds perched beneath the branch of a tree with distinctive pointed leaves, commonly stylized as a Japanese maple or similar flora. One bird is looking upward, while the second bird rests lower down, turned slightly forward. The composition captures a serene moment often used to symbolize companionship, harmony, or the beauty of changing seasons. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
