A DIVISION ONE PICTORIAL JASPERWARE BUTTON

1 Large medium 18th century Wedgwood in Boulton Steel example. Here is a wonderful fine example of a Jasperware pictorial by the famous Jasperware maker Josiah Wedgwood. He and Matthew Boulton were close friends and Wedgwood often commissioned Boulton to create the mountings for his Jasperware disks. Boulton's recipe for creating the finest steel at the time has been unsurpassed and his steel today remains so pristine and un-rusted, it's truly remarkable, as is the case in this spectacular example.
