The moulded black marble top with one-third pierced gallery, above a foliate cornice, the frieze inset with three panels of Spanish brocatelle and porfido verde antico above a door with a recessed panel inset with three graduated pietra dura plaques, flanked by foliate masks representing the winds, the sides centred by Hercules masks, the base with gadrooned moulding centred by a Bacchus mask on tapering square feet
