tapering vase-shaped and on square base, the shoulder engraved with a band of foliage scrolls between beaded borders, the hinged cover with vase-shaped finial, with wood handle, engraved with a crest within drapery and foliage scroll cartouche 31cm high, gross weight 23oz 12dwt, 734gr Provenance: with Marks Antiques, 49 Curzon Street, London, 12 November 2001. From the estate of Peter Haigh, Norwood Green, Halifax
