A German 18k bicolour gold and opal full finger ring. Forged bi-colour gold ring with a double shank. Oblong bezel composed of three domed, hinged plate links covering the entire finger, decorated with granules and small pyramid-shaped, rivet-like relief appliqués, and bezel-set with 29 oval opals displaying vivid opalescence. Hallmarks: Maker’s mark “FM”. Engraved “77”. Length 8 cm. Ring size 52. Weight 35.62 g. Falko Marx, Cologne, 1977.
