A German forged 18k gold and opal ring. Solid, forged ring with a concentrically moulded bezel, set with a large opal displaying blue, green and red opalescence (approx. 21.19 × 17.29 mm). Shank with a soldered sizing bar. Stamped on the sizing bar: Fineness 750, crown, maker’s mark, Cologne guild mark. Bezel 2.7 × 2.4 cm. Ring size approx. 52. Weight 25.24 g.
