A German hand-forged 18k gold cultured pearl ruby emerald opal and diamond brooch. Forged, irregular openwork rosette design. Centrally set with an oval, closed-set opal triplet (approx. 17.80 × 8.98 mm). Further set with six pin-mounted pearls of varying sizes, two rubies, an emerald and a small brilliant-cut diamond. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, maker’s mark. 5.0 × 5.5 cm. Weight 27.72 g. Hans-Leo Peters, Düsseldorf, 1970.
