A JAPANESE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL MOON FLASK Meiji period, of moon flask form, each face with a circular panel upon an aventurine ground, one worked with a crane in flight amid foliage, the other with a phoenix amid flowering branches, within beaded borders and bands of stylised scrolls, the flared neck and spreading foot with floral medallions upon a speckled ochre ground, the sides with flowerheads upon a mottled green ground, with gilt-metal rims. 12.5cm high
