A large Chinese doucai dish, Kangxi/Yongzheng period, early 18th century, painted to the interior in doucai enamels and gilding with bamboo and a stem of composite flowers, within double line borders below four shaped reserves enclosing further floral sprays reserved on a diaper ground, the reverse with two floral sprays painted in underglaze blue, diameter 38.7cm Cf. a similar large doucai dish, dated to the Kangxi/Yongzheng period (1662-1735), sold by Christie's 2010, Exhibited: Beauty of Qing Period, Osaka Municipal Museum of Art, 1992, no. 103.
