A LARGE IRISH BLUE AND WHITE BEADED GLASS OVAL MIRROR IN GEORGE III STYLE, LATE 19TH OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY 75.5cm high, 60cm wide Provenance: Property of a Lady Condition Report: Minor marks scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and use The mirror could be hung in portrait or 'landscape' format (with suitable simple fittings to reverse if alternative required to current) The mirror plate shows very little sign of age , very few small dark spots and one or two fine scratches from the reverse of the plate. (see images) The mirror plate may be a replacement. Curiously, the reverse of the frame shows that the whole is mounted onto a painting type stretcher and there is also a canvas there. It seems that a picture stretcher has been re-purposed for the mirror. Please refer to all additional images available via email for visual reference to condition.
