Provenance: Collection of William Woodbridge Dickinson (1873�1957)Note: This collection was formed by William Woodbridge Dickinson (1873�1957), son of William Dickinson (1837�1901), one of the original co-founders of the Marquette Cement Manufacturing Company (established Chicago, 1898). An ardent Anglophile, Dickinson assembled the collection around his passion for traditional English craftsmanship, fine silver, and classic decorative arts�an aesthetic that also extended to his Tudor-style estate ("Hadleigh") and formal English tea garden in St. Joseph, Michigan.
