A finely crafted rectangular silver casket with a hinged, slightly raised lid, decorated throughout with intricate niello inlay. The sides are similarly adorned with rectangular panels of finely engraved floral sprays, set against a dark niello ground and enclosed within prominent key borders. The edges are accentuated with delicate beaded and linear ornamentation. The casket is raised on four rounded silver feet.
