A notable specimen of quartz with hematite

A beautiful specimen of Hematite, Specularite variety, which, together with two-terminated quartz crystals up to 13 mm, covers a reniform hematite nodule. The Specularite is highly lustrous. Specimen collected in the 1960s. The specimen is photographed under intense professional lighting to best highlight details and color. Any slight variations in color tones depend on the settings of the device used and/or exposure to ambient or artificial light of different color temperature. CW1063
