A Pair of Large Asian Glazed Ceramic Foo Lions

Mid-20th century, lions are posed seated with front paw raised, the female holding a baby under her paw and the male holding a ball, decorated in variegated blue-violet and green-blue crackle glazes, seated upon an elaborate plinth with lotus blossom petals, unsigned. 26 x 12 x 8 1/2 in. One area of repair to the bit element arching inside the mouth; otherwise good estate condition.
