A pair of Wedgwood pale blue jasperware teacups and saucers, produced as part of the company's 250th anniversary commemorative collection (1759 to 2009). The set is crafted from unglazed, fine-grained stoneware featuring a matte light blue body with white sprigged bas-relief neo-classical ornamentation. The cups are decorated with a horizontal band of acanthus scrolls and floral motifs above a fluted lower body. The saucers feature a central white ring and a repeating chain-link or laurel-style border near the rim. Each piece bears a gold-colored printed mark on the underside consisting of a stylized W above the word WEDGWOOD, followed by the number 250 and a registration symbol. The pieces are stamped Made in England. Additionally, each item retains a small, circular provenance sticker from the Rubin Collection with handwritten inventory numbers.
