A.R. Penck (1939–2017) - Für Charly

A.R. Penck - hand-signed screen print - O.T. – Peace, ca. 1995 Introduction to the Object The present original color screen print “O.T. – Peace” was created around 1995 and stands as an exemplar of A.R. Penck’s characteristic symbolic visual language. With reduced forms, archetypal-looking signs, and an immediately impactful composition, Penck developed an independent visual language that moves between painting, graphics, and symbolic language. The work combines the expressive directness of his art with the universally understandable motif of peace. Details of the Lot Artist: A.R.
