A.R. Penck (after) - Vergleich I - Contempory Artprint - 70 x 50 cm - 1990s

Iconic art print after A. R. Penck – “Comparison I” Available is a high-quality art print after a characteristic work by the prominent German artist A. R. Penck. A. R. Penck is one of the central representatives of the neo-expressionist movement (the “Neue Wilde”) and among the formative artists of post-war European art. His works are internationally established and maintain stable demand in the market for contemporary art. The motif “Comparison I” exemplifies Penck’s unmistakable visual language. His so-called “Standard” figures – strongly reduced, schematic signs – serve as universal visual codes while also conveying social and political content. It is precisely these iconic, pictogram-like representations that are among Penck’s most sought-after motifs, as they convey his artistic idea of a simple, immediate yet deeply meaningful visual language particularly clearly. The art print was produced as a high-quality offset print on thick, sturdy paper and impresses with its clear, high-contrast presentation. The format of approximately 70 × 50 cm gives the work strong visual presence and makes it an ideal statement piece — for both contemporary art collectors and modern, design-oriented interiors. Issued by the Art Edition Fils publishing house and professionally stored, the work is in flawless condition. An iconic motif from one of Germany’s most important contemporary artists with high recognition value. Details: - Artist: A.R.
