A Regency mahogany regulator longcase clock, by Robert Molyneux, London, eight day movement, with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, circular painted dial with outer minute Arabic numerals and subsidiary hours and seconds dials, the hood with ebony line inlay, brass cased weights, ebonised pendulum rod and substantial brass cased bob, 182cm high Note: Robert Molyneux had his own business in Devonshire Street circa 1800, initially making escapements, but later producing chronometers.
