A SANDERSON 1888 PATTERN SWORD BAYONET AND SCABBARD, SECOND TYPE. With a 30 cm pointed, double edged blade with central rib, well marked with various marks including 'Sanderson Sheffield' and 2 26 and other inspection marks. The wooden two part grip with two brass rivets, numbered 225 to the top mount, with functioning spring. 41.5 cm. Provenance: The Bob Osborne Bayonet Collection.
