A slender medieval gold ring with a flowerhead bezel, centred by an oval red stone within a surround of six smaller circular settings of green stones, each stone is individually collet-set, likely 14th century, six-lobed cluster, size O/P, 1.3 grams Provenance: Found by a metal detectorist near Ulverston, Cumbria, on 27 March 2025 References and Comparisons: The King Row Ring, Noonans, London, 26 March 2025, lot 88, catalogued as late twelfth or early thirteenth century, provides a relevant medieval parallel for the combination of a principal gemstone, separate satellite collets and a slender hoop
