A. Suscosse - Notre table, recueil des recettes de cuisine et de pâtisserie

Exciting edition of this practical collection dedicated to cooking and pastry, designed above all to bring together a set of recipes intended to facilitate meal preparation and convey culinary know-how organized around domestic use - The lack of a precise publication date makes it difficult to determine its exact publication context, but the title Our Table evokes a conception of cooking as a daily space of conviviality, transmission, and sociability, while the gathering of cooking and pastry recipes testifies to a desire to encompass both savory preparations for ordinary meals or special occasions and sweet preparations that serve to complete the menus - Thus the book belongs to the tradition of practical culinary collections that seek less to develop a theoretical reflection on food than to provide the reader with instructions directly usable in the preparation of dishes, emphasizing techniques, proportions, ingredient combinations, and the various ways to achieve successful preparations - A.
