A three-strand cultured pearl necklace with a diamond, Verneuil ruby and sapphire cluster clasp. Three-strand necklace of uniform cream-coloured cultured pearls (approx. 8 mm in diameter). Round clasp in a scrolling cluster design, closed-back set with an oval pink ruby (approx. 11.2 × 9.0 mm), two synthetic Verneuil rubies and two sugarloaf-cut sapphires, four old-cut diamonds (total approx. 0.72 ct, J/K colour, SI/P clarity) and small rose-cut diamonds. Hallmarks: 585 fineness, Viennese fineness mark from 1922 (Neuwirth, plate 62, no. 22), maker’s mark “A.J.”. One old-cut diamond replaced with a brilliant-cut diamond. Length approx. 36.0 / 39.0 / 41.0 cm. Clasp diameter 3.0 cm. Total weight 117.51 g. Vienna, c. 1925 - 30.
