A Tokyo Disneyland Pre-Opening Booklet and Postcards Set.

(Tokyo Disneyland, 1981) A pre-opening Tokyo Disneyland booklet and postcard set. Prepared for local area residents of Urayasu, Chiba, this 20-page booklet granted Japanese readers a preview of the Disney Park “targeted for opening in Spring, 1983.” The pictorial features full-color two-page spreads showcasing the Park’s lands and attractions, Characters, Cast Members, food, shopping, and more. The six postcard set features concept art for Tokyo Disneyland alongside photos from Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Measuring 8.75” x 11.75”, the dual-language brochure is in very good used condition with minor wear and scuff marks to the cover and spine. The 4” x 6” postcards are in fine condition with wear to the outer envelope only.
