A Victorian 14k bicolour gold panel bracelet with Isalamic lapis lazuli intaglios and snake motifs. Bi-colour gold bracelet with finely chased serpent motifs, set with five graduated octagonal lapis lazuli plaques, the hand-engraved intagli decorated with Oriental calligraphy. Hook-and-eye clasp. Not hallmarked. Length 18.0 cm. Weight 34.50 g. Probably England, using old Kufic intaglios, c. 1860s.
