Abdoulaye Derme - Sculpture, Chien, Lévriers stylisé - 28.5 cm - Bronze

Description : This sculpture represents a slender greyhound, treated in a decidedly stylized manner. The body is stretched, almost threadlike, with long, fine legs that emphasize the impression of lightness and movement. The head, simply modeled, with drooping ears, evokes the nobility and vigilance characteristic of this breed. The bronze presents a beautiful green patina, slightly nuanced, revealing traces of manual work and a living surface. The whole exudes minimalist elegance, where the simplification of forms highlights the line and overall balance. This decorative work, both modern and timeless, fits into a contemporary aesthetic inspired by animal art, ideal for display on a base or in a design interior. Nota: Patte plus courte à l'arrière. Note: the hind leg is shorter.
