Abdoulaye Derme - Sculpture, Homme élancée - 100 cm - Bronze

The sculpture depicts a slender, highly elongated human silhouette, very tall and thin, in a style strongly reminiscent of Giacometti's aesthetic. The body is vertical, almost threadlike, with the arms pressed to the torso and the hands clasped downward. The rough texture of the bronze enhances the fragile and expressive quality of the figure, giving it an aura that is at once sober and dramatic.
