Abstract composition with figures. Signed. Contemporary School. 20th century

Descriptio Oil and mixed media on support. Dimensions: 52 x 39 cm. An abstract expressionist work in which schematic figures outlined with blue and yellow strokes are superimposed on a dense background of red, earth, and black. Faces, intertwined bodies, and symbols emerge from the chromatic chaos with gestural violence. The mixed media adds texture, relief, and spontaneity to the ensemble. The artist’s signature is legible but unidentifiable. This piece is in line with 20th-century Spanish Informalist art, characterized by its emotional charge, its material language, and its rejection of conventional figuration. The result is a powerful, energetic, and symbolically open work. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
