Æ (Spain, b. 1977) – “BUNDLE – Daft Punk” (2026) – Hand-signed, numbered & CoA BUNDLE!! You are bidding on 3 original artworks by Æ celebrating Daft Punk, the legendary French electronic music duo whose unmistakable robot personas became global icons of music, technology and contemporary pop culture, hand-finished, hand-signed and individually numbered from a limited edition of only 10. ◉ Total size: 37 × 66 cm. Three artworks, each measuring 37 × 22 cm. ◉ Original ink-inspired mixed-media artworks by artist Æ. This striking monochrome set of three artworks pays tribute to Daft Punk, reimagining the duo’s iconic robot mythology through the visual language of vintage Japanese science-fiction magazines, retro-futurist imagery and underground editorial design. From their mysterious helmets to their carefully constructed identities as musical machines, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo transformed anonymity into one of the most recognisable visual identities in electronic music. Their universe blurred the boundaries between human and machine, analogue and digital, nostalgia and the future. The three artworks explore different aspects of this mythology. One presents a solitary robotic musician surrounded by an abstract network of stars and signals; another imagines the duo as the subjects of a forgotten 1975 Japanese science-and-technology publication; while the third transforms their helmeted figures into travellers emerging from an alternative retro-futuristic universe. References to the visual worlds surrounding Human After All, Discovery, Tron: Legacy and Random Access Memories merge with imagined scientific diagrams, cosmic landscapes, mysterious transmissions and fragments of vintage Japanese publishing. Together, the three compositions celebrate Daft Punk not simply as musicians, but as cultural icons of electronic music and robotic identity — two anonymous figures who transformed helmets, machines and synthesised sound into an enduring mythology. Each composition combines intricate engraved details, halftones, screentones, distressed printing textures, bold Japanese typography and analogue imperfections. The monochrome aesthetic gives the artworks the appearance of rare science-fiction and music publications rediscovered decades after their original release. Artist and designer Æ (Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies, Barcelona, 2004; Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies) has developed a distinctive artistic language inspired by Japanese visual culture, minimalism, conceptual art, vintage manga and graphic design. His works are held in private collections in more than 30 countries, including The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Æ’s artworks are recognised for their restrained monochrome palette, bold contrasts and carefully balanced compositions. By combining minimalist forms with intricate engraved textures, symbolic imagery and references to Japanese visual culture, he creates emotionally evocative works that blur the boundaries between traditional printmaking, contemporary illustration and pop culture. His unique visual language has become highly appreciated by collectors seeking original limited editions inspired by music, cinema, Japanese culture and iconic figures. The artist was the subject of a review by respected exhibition curator Thierry Fournier (Artnoises): “Collected AE (XX), it comes down to wanting, breaking, transgressing an invisible border, merging the civilizational DNA of the future and the past. The work becomes a ticket, a simple ‘go!’ for emotional teleportation lived entirely in black and white. Æ2381 invites us to leap into a timeless world populated by symbols, images and unexplored signs.” — Thierry Fournier (Artnoises) ★★★★★ * All photographs represent the artworks as accurately as possible. Slight colour variations may occur depending on monitor calibration and lighting conditions. ** Carefully packed and shipped immediately after payment with appropriate insurance and tracking. Combined shipping is available when purchasing multiple lots. *** The framed image shown is for presentation purposes only and is not included. We are a PRO and TOP seller. Bid with confidence backed by 100% positive feedback. Every artwork is carefully packaged and includes the extras described in this listing.
