Distressed typography, abandoned streets and layered photographic textures evoke the psychological tension and nightmarish atmosphere of Silent Hill 3. “Silent Hill: The Town That Never Forgets” (2026) presents a haunting female portrait alongside Heather Mason, combining surreal facial distortions, deserted environments and fragmented memories. Inspired by Japanese psychological horror and underground manga, the composition explores themes of identity, isolation and the unsettling boundary between dreams and reality. Both artworks combine woodblock-inspired engraving, intricate cross-hatching, halftone textures, photocopied zine aesthetics and dramatic black-and-white contrasts, transforming the visual mythology of Silent Hill into imaginary Japanese horror publications. About the artist Æ2381 (Spain, b. 1977) holds degrees in Digital Design & Multimedia Technologies (Barcelona, 2004) and East Asian Studies. His artistic language combines Japanese visual culture, vintage manga, minimalism and contemporary graphic design. His works are held in private collections across more than 30 countries. His distinctive monochrome compositions explore the intersection of traditional printmaking, pop culture and experimental illustration.
