Vintage Japanese B2 theatrical poster for The Mirror Crack’d, Guy Hamilton’s 1980 adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple mystery, released in Japan in 1981 as クリスタル殺人事件. This striking Japanese design places the ensemble cast within a shattered-mirror composition surrounding an illuminated Big Ben, a lightning bolt and a vintage car. The black background, red Japanese title and contrasting portraits give the poster a strong visual presence. The cast includes Angela Lansbury as Miss Marple, alongside Elizabeth Taylor, Kim Novak, Rock Hudson, Tony Curtis, Geraldine Chaplin and Edward Fox. Details: • Country of issue: Japan • Film year: 1980 • Japanese theatrical release: 1981 • Format: Japanese B2, approximately 51.5 × 72.8 cm • Japanese distributor: Toho-Towa • Single-sided, unframed • Design associated with the original Japanese release Condition: Good overall vintage condition, with visible edge wear, light handling creases and corner creasing, particularly at the lower right. The reverse appears generally clean. Colours remain strong and the main image displays well. Please examine both photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description. Shipping: Carefully packed with protective paper in a sturdy postal tube and sent with tracking. The poster will not be newly folded for shipping.
