Signed and numbered by the artist, edition of 20. Agathe Toman – Collection Partagée Fine Art Photography – The Forest, French Pyrenees (Lac de Payolle), Spring 2026 This black-and-white photograph was taken in spring 2026, in the heart of the French Pyrenees, around Lac de Payolle. It belongs to the series The Forest, a photographic project where the landscape becomes a mental space, between presence, memory and disappearance. Photograph taken on film with a Leica Leicaflex. The image processing, deliberately contrasted and rich in grain, is inspired by the aesthetics of the great Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama. This approach gives the work a raw and organic intensity, where the photographic matter is as important as the subject itself. This work is part of Agathe Toman's COLLECTION PARTAGÉE, a limited edition series designed to make her photographic work accessible to collectors. - Fine Art print on premium glossy paper. - Edition limited to 20 copies. - Work numbered and signed by hand (front and back). - Signed certificate of authenticity provided. - The photograph is carefully shipped rolled in a protective tube. - Frame not provided. Agathe Toman is a French artist born in 1989. A multidisciplinary artist, she develops a practice combining drawing, painting, photography, poetry and sculpture around the links between landscape, psyche and memory. After studies at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and several years as a stylist within Parisian haute couture houses, she chose to devote herself entirely to her artistic practice. Her works are present in numerous private collections in Europe, the United States and Asia. She has been listed with Sotheby’s since 2021, where several of her works have been auctioned. Her work has notably been shown at Art Paris and published in media such as Forbes, L’Œil and ELLE. Through her photographs, Agathe Toman seeks less to document reality than to reveal what eludes it. Her images question our relationship to memory, to the living, and to inner landscapes. Between abstraction and figuration, they invite the viewer to a contemplative experience where everyone can project their own story. “I consider my works as materializations of psychic states. They do not represent a landscape; they become an inner landscape. What interests me is not what one sees, but what the image awakens in us.” — Agathe Toma
