Agustín Hernández Sanz (1931) - Luz y color en el jardín

Large-format work with extraordinary visual impact that depicts a garden with architecture and sculptures under a vibrant sky. The artist works with a generous material charge — impastos and broad passages of spatula — that build volumes and reliefs, creating a tactile, rich pictorial surface. The Mediterranean palette (deep greens, bright reds, floral whites, and pearly blues) is organized in well-articulated planes, with a firm drawing of dark outlines that enhances the structure of the whole. Stylistically, the piece sits between Post-Impressionism and a modern figurative with an expressive accent, where light and color are protagonists. The panoramic composition — with tree masses, bold cypresses, and architectural accents — demonstrates compositional solidity and technical mastery, qualities that underscore the high quality of the canvas and its collectible and decorative strength. Signed and dated 1961. Frame not included. #xxlartworks
