Akai - AP-005 Record player

Vintage vinyl turntable from the 1980s, Akai AP 005 functional, very good aesthetic appearance. Only suitable for manual use; the automatic mechanism is not functioning. The big sister of the Akai AP-003 model benefits from a beautiful veneered wooden cabinet and a gorgeous brushed aluminum top. The condenser motor with external rotor (PAPST-type) offers unprecedented rotational stability. A high-quality and innovative Japanese production, both in terms of sound reproduction and appearance! because Akai turntables of this generation have a very successful design: the playing surface lies close to the table and a minimalism that we have only seen in contemporary Danish designs.
