Rare cool early 80- ties design Akai speakers, made with high quality components. Woofers have no foam problems. They sound okay. The Akai SR-1100 is a pair of vintage 2-way bookshelf speakers, manufactured in Japan by Akai between 1980 and 1982. They are part of a broader series of hi-fi speakers from that era, which also included the larger SR-1200 and SR-1300 models.
