Alessandro Piano - Alter Ego Piet 184 - PRINT on PET - AlePianoArt

Up for auction: a PET print 50x70 with signature on the front, ALEPIANOtm sticker, and a signature with the work name and a progressive number on the back. “I have fallen in love with the famous bricks since I was a child, and today I realize how immortal they are. Their beauty is also that they manage to render immortal the other toys of the '80s. This is the intention of my work. This is the stimulus that pushed me to create my “Alter Ego” with the toys of the '80s. I would like everyone to take a jump back in time and see our old games in a different, almost immortal way. From this starting point I have also pursued new experiments with new inclusions.” These are the words with which Alessandro Piano describes his work. The immediate step after creating the #AlterEgoSculpture in resin was photography and the creation of prints on PET (#AlterEgoPrint and #AlterEgoArtPrint). The photo number may not be the same as the one in the auction.
