Aletai meteorite Pendant - Height: 3.45 cm - Width: 1.86 cm - 14.67 g - (2)

Two pendants with superb motifs. The Aletai meteorite is a rare and valuable ferrous iron meteorite (siderite) of type IIIE-an, discovered in Xinjiang, China. Formed 4.5 billion years ago, it stands out for its large size (tonnes), a unique structure with high gold and iridium content, and characteristic Widmanstätten patterns. Officially named in 2016, it groups several discoveries under synonymous names, including Armanty Coming from my personal collection.

Estimate:£2.51
