Large and majestic Art Deco metal panther with a bronze-like finish on a Portoro marble base. It is signed Ouline on the plinth (Alexandre Ouline, Belgian sculptor active from 1918 to 1940, specializing in animal sculpture). Panther magnificently executed, full of strength and grace. A superb presence, with patina colors that catch the light and the eye. The sculpture is in excellent condition, with rare and very minor defects.
