Alfa Romeo - Alfa Romeo Officina enamel sign - Sign - Enamel, Metal

Vintage Alfa Romeo "Officina" Dealer/Workshop Sign (Plastic) A vintage Alfa Romeo sign reading "OFFICINA" (Italian for "workshop") in bold red lettering, set below the iconic Alfa Romeo roundel featuring the red Cross of Milan and the crowned Visconti serpent (Biscione) on a cream/ivory background. This style of sign was used to mark authorized Alfa Romeo service and repair points, distinct from full sales dealerships. The sign is made from molded plastic rather than enamel or metal, with the roundel badge raised and mounted onto the cream panel. The logo style — the circular badge without "MILANO" lettering — is consistent with the design Alfa Romeo adopted from 1972 onward, helping place this sign within that later Officina-signage era. The reverse shows a raised, pressed circular boss corresponding to the front badge, along with light discoloration at the top mounting points and general surface patina consistent with age and having hung in a working service environment. A great find for Alfa Romeo collectors and anyone building a dedicated marque display — "Officina" signs of this type are a recognized category of Italian dealership memorabilia, with metal and enamel versions from the same era regularly appearing at specialist automobilia auctions; this plastic version offers a lighter, more affordable alternative for display. Condition: Light discoloration/staining at the top mounting points (visible on reverse); surface wear and patina consistent with age; front face, badge, and lettering remain crisp and legible. Please refer to photos for full visual assessment of front and back.
