Aligi Sassu (1912-2000) - Composizione mitologica

Colorful graphic work by Aligi Sassu (1912–2000), depicting a lively composition with horses and figures, a subject particularly representative of the artist's output. The piece bears the autograph pencil signature “Aligi Sassu” at the bottom right. At the bottom left there is a pencil notation relating to the edition/print, as well as an embossed blind stamp on the paper, both visible in the photographs. The composition is characterized by the strong dynamism of the figures and horses and by an intense chromaticism dominated by shades of blue, azure, and ochre. Dimensions without frame: approximately 83 × 63 cm. Dimensions with frame: approximately 99 × 79 cm. The work is presented with a mat and a light-colored frame enriched with gilded profiles. Good general condition, with typical signs compatible with age. Please carefully observe all photographs, which are an integral part of the description and show the signature, pencil notation, blind stamp, and conservation state. The frame should be considered an accessory element and is supplied together with the work.
