Alphonse Mucha (after) - Manifesto Art Nouveau per i...

Refined advertising poster for Lefèvre-Utile biscuits, featuring the famous long-blonde-haired woman, wrapped in a light dress and surrounded by elegant ornamental motifs. The woman holds a tray of cookies, while at the bottom there is a circular composition with the calendar of 1897 and the LU monogram. Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s. The work draws on the famous project by Alphonse Mucha, master of Art Nouveau, recognizable in the sinuous lines, the decorative frame, and the harmony of warm colors. At the bottom the artist's signature and the indication of the F. Champenois printing house of Paris are visible. A poster of great decorative impact, blending Mucha's refined graphics with advertising for a historic French brand. The paper shows yellowing, stains, and signs of age, visible in the photographs. !!! Add me to your favorite sellers to discover new arrivals and go see my other items up for auction !!!
