Framed. Approximate dimensions: "Camelias" Sheet (largest): 15 3/4 x 11 1/2 in. (40 x 29.2 cm.) Frame (both): 22 7/8 x 14 1/4 x 1 1/8 in. (58.1 x 36.2 x 2.9 cm.) Provenance: Private Collection of Mary Ann Campbell, Temple, GA. Other notes: "Les Maitres de l'Affiche" (or "Masters of the Poster") was a subscription-based publication whereby customers would get four small-scale lithographic reproductions of original posters delivered to their door every month. Published by Jules Cheret (French, 1836-1932) between 1895-1900, "Les Maitres De L'Affiche" ultimately comprised two hundred and fifty six plates by many of the leading poster artists of the late 19th century.
