All auctions / Ethnographical / ALPINO, RARE QUARTZ with AZURITE
From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose a rare group of Quartz crystals with Azurite, Malachite, and Chrysocolla from Challand-Saint-Anselme, in the Aosta Valley. Moreover, it features prismatic and gemmy Quartz crystals arranged on matrix, enriched by blue Azurite, green Malachite, and Chrysocolla encrustations that create a pleasant color contrast, elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that highlight its natural structure and visual impact. Quartz (SiO2) is one of the most widespread minerals in the Earth's crust, and its transparency owes to the ordered crystal structure of silicon dioxide. Azurite and Malachite are both copper carbonates that form in surface alteration zones of copper ore deposits, and their coexistence, along with Chrysocolla, testifies to secondary oxidation processes. The Aosta Valley, with its Alpine formations and old copper mines, is a well-known area among collectors for finds of this type of mineral association. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, displays, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally attributed to the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out through reliable and carefully selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days in Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional and safe packing, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also take place the day after payment depending on the destination. It is possible to combine multiple purchases and have them delivered in a single shipment, including from auctions with different deadlines, simply by contacting us to arrange the cumulation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at major European fairs is also available.
