AMA • Pope (1985) - "aMen" - McDonald's - 4/20 Complete your Pop Art collection with this hand-painted and custom-made figurine themed around McDonald's (this is not an official brand object) in a limited edition of only 20 copies for 2025. "aMen" humorously and irreverently reinterprets the codes of religious iconography to confront them with one of the most universal religions of the 21st century: consumption. In this work, the Virgin no longer distributes blessings and miracles, but presents to the faithful the true objects of worship of our era: two Big Macs, instantly recognizable symbols of mass culture. Between devotion, marketing and social satire, "aMen" questions our relationship to brands, to modern rituals, and to the new forms of adoration that pace our daily lives. At the boundary between contemporary art, popular culture and offbeat humor, this piece leaves no one indifferent and immediately sparks discussion. Signed limited edition artwork, dated, numbered and delivered with certificate of authenticity. Shipping is fast and careful (bubble wrap, tissue paper and cardboard) with signature on delivery. Sculpture made for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist Pope using a premium polymer vinyl customization technique, including graphic design, precision cutting, meticulous positioning and fully manual application of the visual elements. Who is Pope? Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice in the visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wonder-filled gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
